Relax with pride
The link doesn't take me to the kit and I have looked all over the site for it. Please help. How much is it?
The Do-It-Yourself Hammock Stand Kit is an ideal way to create an attractive stand for your Mayan, Brazilian, Nicaraguan hammock without spreader bars. Made of solid 11-gauge steel (the toughest we offer), this kit includes two brackets and the hardware needed to construct this stand. All you have to do is pick up the lumber at your local lumber yard. In a few short steps, you will have a unique looking hammock stand that you can build yourself.
Kit includes rope for hanging your hammock. Consider upgrading with a chain hanging kit for added durability. See our chain hanging kit shown below.
Materials Needed:
Assembly time takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes using a crescent or sprocket wrench. To complete the kit you will have to pick up five 4x4* posts at your local lumber yard:
1-8ft long 4x4 post (center beam)
2-6ft long 4x4 posts (hammock support posts)
2-4ft long 4x4 posts (legs)
For the XXL Mazatlan Mayan, the Large Family Size Brazilian, and the XXL Mazatlan Thick String Mayan Hammocks:
1- 10ft long 4x4 post (center beam)
2- 6ft long 4x4 posts (hammock support posts)
2- 4ft long 4x4 posts (legs)
*Please note that the brackets in this set are designed to fit true 4-inch by 4-inch posts. Most construction-grade 4x4s actually measure 3.5 x 3.5 inches. If using smaller construction grade lumber, we recommend inserting wood shims so that posts fit securely in the brackets.
Included: 1 DIY Hammock Stand Kit: brackets, 2 Screw hooks, 8 Hex Lag Screws, 2 Metal Brackets, 2 Lengths of Rope
