    Question Footwear and storage

Ok so the issue is what shoes do you wear on a possible hike and where do you store them for the night. In case of rain do you throw them inside with you or do you just place it underneath the hammock?

For me I am a huge Chaco fan and just throw them down at the end attached to my ridgeline in the hennessy hammock

I have a gear hammock but you could tie the laces together and toss them over your hammock strap, kinda like when you see a pair of shoes hanging from a powerline.

Do you detach the ridgeline to attach the chaco's?

Standing on the ground (most often), or laces tied together tossed over the foot-end suspension.

    Cool

Here a pic with my gear hammock and the laces trick:

It works really fine for me and I'm happy to have my stuff off the ground.

I have a cord tired on the ridge line of my Hennessy. I climb in and take them off and tie them to the cord. Then I push them out the entry slit. My hiking boot are stored under my hammock.
