I know this was covered but I can not find the thread or the post.
Can someone point me to all the vendors who will premake the UG shells bases upon the temp rating (ie: loft of the tubes.) just leaving me with the need to add the down and seal the end.

The one person I am aware of that did that developed cancer and was getting chemo and has dropped off the radar. Might be a couple of people who will chime in and be wiling to make you a shell that you can finish yourself.

As far as I know there is/was only one company and they are out of commission at the moment (as Gunner suggests above). Your best bet is to post a Want To Buy in the appropriate section, or privately ask a vendor.Originally Posted by SSGHawk

If I got as far as to make the shell, I don't think I'd want to sell it, I'd just add the down and be doneThe calculating, measuring and sewing it that far is easily 90% of the work, but also the least expensive.
How much would you be willing to pay for a shell, that is the next question that comes to mind.
