    Tarps show and tell

I've been adapting a design that I've liked for several silnylon tarps to the new medium of cuben fiber. Here's a rough video. Editing to make it shorter also made it pretty choppy, and the sound isn't wonderful, but there's a fair amount of information in it. The cuben design will get a few further modifications, as mods, like repairs, are easier than they are with sil.

Nice work...I really like your built in gear lofts on the hammock. I might have to copy that.

Innovative as always, It gives me a couple of ideas also.

Nice vid West Virginia. The tarp reminds me of some of the characteristics of the Ogee. Your dog looks right at home in the woods.

Very nice design. I feel compelled to warn you though, that your boots are going to get wet if you throw them out like that.

Right! I don't know what I was thinking. There was plenty of room for me to sit in the hammock and put on my boots. If it had been raining it would have been different, even with a dog underfoot. I have learned that when I wake up in the morning I need to look before I step, or at least feel around with my toes to find solid ground.
