I use a sweatshirt stuffed up in the top of my hammock. it helps to keep the bug net out of my face. I'm going to have to pick up a dream hammock SOON.

Use a rolled-up fleece or a small, oblong pillow for my neck. Back of my head will rest on the hammock fabrick itself. For me the most comfortable option. I turn and twist a lot when sleeping but this seems to work anytime.
    Happy hammocking!

I use a Thermarest pillow. It is just the right size for me using a Warbonnet BB.

I got a small down pillow from HG a few years ago. It's the perfect size for the hammock. I tried a medium sized pillow, but it was too big and uncomfortable.

Typically I'll stuff my fleece vest under my head/neck area and that's fine for a pillow. Nothing fancy and I take the vest with me anyway so it's doing double duty this way without adding additional weight to my pack.

That's all for now. Take care and until next time...Be well.

I also used to use a pillow from Exped, but I didn't like the thick plastic feel to it. Just lately Sea to Summit came out with a couple of super comfortable pillows that are very lightweight. You can find them here. I bought the Traveller for carrying in my everyday pack as it only weighs about 2oz. I also have the Premium pillow that weighs in at only 3.5 ounces for the large size. These are not your typical inflatable pillows as they both made with a material similar to brushed microfiber that is very comfortable. The Premium pillow inflates to about 5" in height, which is good for reading in the hammock, and then I let about 1/3 to 1/2 of the air out for a comfortable sleeping pillow. I am a side sleeper and these work well for me. The inflate/deflate valve is a single valve with two pull tabs for opening. I found it much easier to use than the two valves on the Exped, and it helps save space in the pack. You can probably find these at REI.

I have a pillow that was given to one of my kids when they were babies. I put my buff around it for a pillow case.

Nope. Since I'm already laying in a slight banana shape, I'm perfectly comfortable without. In a hammock, anything under my head folds my neck uncomfortably forward.
