I think if you are considering the RR as well as a tarp and UQ you should also consider getting the Lynx UQ and the Cloudburst tarp from WB which are made to work with the RR. Getting all of them at once from the same vendor is also handy IMO.

I already have the tarp and underquilt, but not the hammock.

Some people reposition the side pullouts on the SF to match up with the spreader bars on the RR. They use Dutch's tarp clips or Grip clips. The Incubator should be ok but may require some suspension fiddling.

I am considering a RidgeRunner for similar reasons. I recently got a bad for my gathered end hammock as a last attempt at overcoming the calf ridge issues. Judging by everyone's responses I believe that I will just order a Ridgerunner and see how I sleep in that guy.

Definitely no calf ridges. If they're a deal-breaker for you in the gathered end varieties, the RR will be like a dream!

I have both blackbird and ridgerunner. blackbird will be for backpacking, RR for car camping. I will report back as soon as I get my first lay in the RR. What hammock are you using now?

HG Phoenix fits great. So I would assume the Incubator should as well unless its wider.

I had a RR. Loved the comfort and side sleeping. However..... I found the SF not long enough if you want to close either end. Also could never get my incubator to snug up nicely.... always a gap and CBS. I gave up and sold it rather than giving up the investment I already had in the SF and Incubator. Those work great on my Clark and WBBB. Did not want to have to reinvest in a cloudburst and lynx.
