I can't really speak for this but it seems to enclose the whole hammock. May be what you seek.....http://www.sierramadreresearch.com/buy-gear/nube
    Worth a look.

The hammock i use in the tropics (pyramid) uses a bug net that encloses the whole hammock. It certainly does stop anything from landing on the underside.....but if you end up with yer head, knee, or elbow touching the bug net at all they'll still get you. Get it soaked in permathrin mate, keep em off you as much as poss

DIY, no chemicals (not that I'm against them).

The good thing about independent bugnets (like the Fronkey) is that I rarely touch them. They're not integrated and they're nowhere near you. It's 360 degrees of coverage, and I spray them thoroughly with permethrin. However, I never spray my hammock because no bug can get past the bugnet.

i like that, proper little bug haven.
I take it you hang well away from the netting when you're in it, and wheres the door?

Plenty of room when inside. There's a zipper on the lower right side of the photo - the darker black line.

This is just the first mock-up model, slapped together with cheap tulle from Joann's. I'm going to make a better looking, and more carefully constructed model from no-seeum when I get some time.

They'll definitely get you from underneath... I have an Byer Amazonas Moskito, which just has the net on top, nothing slung beneath me. One of my first outings with it I took a daytime nap in the park, woke with about 50 bites on my backside and legs - Through the hammock, a sheet and my jeans!
That said, maybe I'm just particularly tasty....

I guess I'm the odd one out in this discussion, but I have never been bitten through my hammock. I do not use chemicals because they are poisonous and they will kill you to death! That being said, most of my hammocks are double layers, but I have a Hennessey ultralight backpacker that I use for day hiking and kayaking trips. I live in Hickory, NC, so the mosquito threat is real. Maybe I'm just not as delicious as you other folks!
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, except bears...because bears will just kill you.

I've never been bitten from beneath, but rarely do I sleep in weather that's warm enough that even a woobie under quilt isn't comfortable.. The woobie is thick enough to ward off anything biting through, and even when it's in the 70's at night, any breeze keeps me from hanging without some sort of underquilt.. Most of my motorcycle camping is spring and fall and it's just not an issue.. And if it's unbearably hot, I'll resort to suffering through a night at a Holiday Inn Express, anyway.. Air conditioners sound like mosquitos, right?
