Need some help!: How can I tie a loop on the end of a strap.

So just got 10 ft. webbing straps for a suspension system for my hammock, but their just straps. There isn't any loops on the end, so I can't pass one end through a loop to hang my hammock. How can I tie a loop on the end of my straps?
Photo on 5-31-14 at 3.36 PM.jpg As you can see it's just a strap nothing else. I would very much like to hear suggestions about knots, instead of sewing. Thanks.

double over and a simple overhand knot should do the trick

The strongest and safest knot for webbing is the "Water Knot" AKA "Tape Knot"
    http://ozultimate.com/canyoning/knots/tape_knot/

Just use the loose end after you loop it like you would another piece of webbing.
Just remember that knots can weaken the material in anything including ropes, webbing, cable etc by as much as 60% and every rope, webbing that is tied always breaks at the knot.

The Tape knot is one particular knot for flat material that will hold almost all of the material strength. (If tied right)

Thank you for the URL. However I can't tell by the pics, is this knot for tying another webbing together or is for a loop?

I usually use a figure 8 on a bight. That's what I was trained to use on a climbing harness. I know there are other options. A bowline on a bight works too.
