writing from a beach in Costa Rica.
I wish....actually I live on the coast in NC and have salt marsh at the rear of my property. I have never been to the very rear of my property as I don't feel line like fighting the mud and marsh grass....had a neighbors kid try to jump across one of the small creeks running thru the marsh and got stuck in the mud up to his waist. Was worried about getting stuck myself trying to get him out. Main problem was it was 5 degrees out and I was worried he might freeze to death. Got him out and took him to parents house across street and told parents to give him warm bath now as he was muddy and very cold. Found out later kid thought creek was a concrete lined ditch; he was about 6 years old.

Lucky kid, could have been a tragedy had the tide came in! I hope his parents were appreciative.

Lucky for him it was low tide. But then if had been high tide he might not have tried to jump the creek.

    ...parents were appreciative.
    they were.

I know what you mean about the salt marshes gunner.
When I was with the FD we had to launch an inflatable to get to a kid who had drove a jet ski high and dry onto a mud shoal with the tide dropping and daylight fading.
Good times. That salt marsh mud can be like quicksand. Once you sink in you almost need a crane to pull you out.

There here. It will be tomorrow evening before I can start on sorting them.

As promised here is a picture of what they look like in the box. I will take another picture once I lay them out so I can start sorting them

Must be stale, kind of hard and chewy. Not much taste.
