    A good problem to have...

I have a couple hundred dollars of REI member refund dollars. They have an anniversary sale until tomorrow. My good problem to have is not knowing what to buy. REI is somewhat limited on hammock gear compared to other camping gear.

I have hammock, tarp, pad, bag, Jet Boil, water treatment, and the usual gear. What other suggestions or ideas for my purchase? I don't have to buy during the sale.

If you had money to spend at REI,what would you buy or what smaller items would you recommend? Thanks in advance for the ideas.

Keep in my I don't have any doubles except for a Grand Trunk hammock. Do you think I need multiple tarps for different weather, etc?

Thanks Chris. I did start adding Mountain House to my cart. A lot of food is on sale. Other ideas are good too. I don't mind adding money for a larger item if anyone thinks I should go that route for a larger item.

anytime. biggest concern for me is the bugs this season. Been raining like crazy in our area.

The superfly should cover you in any weather really. they sell hennesy snake skins as well at rei. that's an excellent accessory to have.

Snake skin and rain gear are good ideas. Down jacket possible.

Was thinking about a cook set. I often hike and camp so small and light?

Depends on what you cook. If only dehydrated stuff, a Jetboil should do just fine. If you do want to cook, going with a small canister stove (Soto makes some nice ones) and something like one of the GSI cooksets (pick the one to best suit your needs) might be good.

In addition to the other good ideas above:
    - If you don't have an UQ, get a ENO UQ - the Blaze might be close to your budget, especially with the 20% off coupon. Probably not quite as good as something from HammockGear or similar, but better than a pad.
    - MSR Carbon Core stakes. Light, effective and hold up well over time.
    - ENO Hotspot Pad Extender

Thanks Breyman. That's what I was thinking about cook sets. So far, only dehydrated since it is easy cleanup.

I have been thinking about an UQ. I have a Big Agnes bag with a sleeve to hold my inflatable pad. I bought it when I was on the ground. Works for my hammock but not sure it is best in colder weather.
