Blackbird Multicam XLC Differences?

I recently purchased a used hammock on this forum. It was advertised as a XLC DBL model at 11'.

Have there been upgrades, or changes in the design?

The reason that I ask is that I have watched some YouTube videos that show the XLC model as having the bugnet where the regular WBBB has regular fabric. My hammock does not have the bugnet where the videos have shown it. It has fabric there.

How do I tell what hammock that I actually have?

Measure the length.
Might be a WBBB or an XLC with an early or custom top/net.

Oops, upon further review, if it only zips on the one side, it's a WBBB.
The XLC top is completely removable.

Looks like a regular BB since the zipper doesn't go all the way around.

I have one just like it. WB made a few BB multicam 11'. I like the reg BB but wanted it in 11'. When he had them for sale I purchased one. I do not think he made many. BigRed77

The zipper does not go all the way around.

Yeah, it's a BlackBird...custom.

If you're not happy with it and want a removable cover, someone will buy that for sure.

I guess that you are correct.

Unfortunately, when I questioned the length by PM, I was led to believe that it was the XLC model:

"Yes it's custom in the length as wbbb are usually 10' and the xlc is 11'"

My bad I guess, I should have researched more before purchasing.
