Sheer seems to block a lot of wind. Not so good when it is hot.

I found that they tend to hold in some heat, which is great for high altitude camping. One good thing is that colors are available in lighter shades to offset the sun heat build up.

Yes, my DIY net made from WM sheers is silky, light (7 oz), inexpensive, and very breeze-able. Plus they come in an assortment of colors.

I too made the Bugnet from WM Sheers works nicely
