...on my friend and neighbor to buy this trailer from me... which I will promptly take that money and buy a camo NX 250. I've been eyeing this hammock for months now, and have nearly pulled the trigger twice... but a situation has always popped up to where I couldn't. I'm not rich by any means, and $500 is a lot of money to spend on a hammock.

BUT I can't have anymore dirt bikes so what the hey?!

My question is has anyone found anything other than the suspension ropes that they don't like about this hammock?

There's more to like about the NX than ever before. If I understand correctly, Clark is now putting velcro along the full length of the hammock body for attaching a full length UQ like the TX has. You may find the NX a little warm in the warm weather but besides that I had no complaints when I had an NX, nor with my TX.

Take a look at the FS forum - I believe there is a Camo NX listed there.

Going to a greenbelt near here to hang overnight in a couple hours in my NX 250, I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow when I get back. It'll be about 50 tonight so I won't take any UQ, that's the beauty of this thing. Of course, I'll bring a 3/4 pad "just in case" the forecast is off.

I'm 59 and my back hurts quite a bit, but last month when I hung in my NX at a national wilderness for 3 days, it didn't hurt at all...I have to build an indoor turtledog stand soon, no more excuses...

Clark has just introduced a whole new concept in their Z-Liner insulation. Gone are the individual pads that velcro into the under-pockets. They have been replaced but this:

I just received my new NX 250. love it and yes it has full length Velcro. I have slept in it on my porch and find it to be very comfortable and roomy. I ordered the full underquilt this past weekend. Can't wait to try it out.

My wife has an nx-250, and I use a warbonnet blackbird. Im not a big person, but I do feel there is some shoulder pinch. There is definately more headroom on the nx-250 compared to the warbonnet, but I feel like i can stretch out more in the blackbird.

I had a HH for years, switched to a Clarke because I liked the built in weather shield, it can get very cold up in Canada hanging in winter. No turning back now, I'm a Clarkie. Just so many usable features built into this hammock.
