Thanks for the clarification gmcttr, I think I was typing a response the same time as you.

Interested but need to ask some questions before I will say that I will take it. If some one says that before I do, they get it.
I am not familiar with this and at the moment my printer is down and My cataract eyes can't read the clark comparison charts.

When the zip up winter shield in on, are there adjustable ventilation ports up high at at each end that are adjustable and shielded from a driving rain? I assume the net covering can be fully stowed away is I want to do so in this mode?
PLease confirm my understanding that there can be a ridge line inside the winter cover?
With the winter cover zipped up. can you reach up and touch it from a sleeping on your back position? If not about how much to you wiss it by?

    Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Paul French

Great video of the NX-250 on Clark's website demonstrating all of the various features of this hammock as well as a bunch of reviews on you tube not to mention a plethera of info here on HF under the Clark sub-forum.

Yes you can easily vent the winter cover and the zippers are easily reached while laying in the hammock. The winter cover is weather resistant NOT water proof.
If hammocking in a "driving" rain I would reccomend rigging the included oversized Vertex Tarp.

There are attachment points in the interior of the hammock if you wanted to attach a ridge line, however it's not really needed with this style of hammock.

Both the integrated bug net and winter cover can be deployed or stowed independently, they do not remove completely from the hammock.

    Hello,

If you so decide to split up the package deal I'll gladly take the NX-250 + Tarp off your hands.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the great answers. Now to hit up the wife about it when she returns tomorrow from a week in California on vacation with her sisters. With as little luck, her defenses will be down.
If she is good with me spending the money, and I think she will, we will be doing business at your very fair price.

Thanks very much for your answers
