Love watching your videos! Very entertaining and definitely takes hammocking to another level (pun intended).

More baby steps for me. Refreshing's inspiration got me to place a hammock well off the ground between two trees. Not having to worry about bears or monsters I only went about 20' up. With no adequate limbs over hanging the hammock that I could use as a tie in point, it became a good lesson for me in moving across between two trees. I was certainly ready for a rest by the time I was able to lay down in the hammock. Thanks again Refreshing.

Nice hang gmcttr! 20' seems like the perfect height for hanging between two trees since it is high enough for safety from monsters and yet you could probably still rig up a tarp and guy it to the ground if it wasn't too windy. Maybe not though, haha, I haven't tried. Since I don't use underquilts I think it would be cool to see a hang at that height using underquilts. I will be waiting patiently for pictures gmcttr.

I got a laugh out of the throw line count. The day before, I must have tried at least 15 (maybe more) times to put a 12 oz bag through a narrow crotch with the big shot before I finally got it. Yesterday on what should have been a harder shot, I got it the first time. You just never know.

    Another most excellent video Refreshing.
Thanks, your TR made my morning coffee taste soooo much better.
Looking forward to your next climbing/hammock adventure.

Do you have a preference on the species of tree you like to climb and hang. Like Oak vs Cottonwoods?
Or is it just the bigger/taller the better?

The Cottonwoods in our area have a great combination of canopy spread and summit height so they are currently my favorite. But really any tree that will get me above 40' and has a few horizontal branches to stand on is going to be a good tree. My next adventure will be in a conifer in preparation for the Redwood climb that I hopefully hopefully hopefully can do later this summer!

    We are not alone.

Spotted a hammock in a new product intro video.
