When I sleep on the ground I just use my Incubator 0*. I think an UQ is more important than a TQ for when you do make the transition to hanging and it's plenty wide enough to not have to spend the extra money to get a wide TQ.

For ground dwelling I'd get the 20 wide half tapper. Welcome to the forum. I have several HG quilts and their awesome.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
