    Greylock 3 question

Hey all, just a quick question regarding my new Greylock 3 underquilt. I recently used it on a two night trip (temps dropping into the 30's at night) and I just felt that the quilt wasn't insulating very well. I wasn't cold, but I also wasn't building any warmth. I'm using an 11' hammock and the suspension on the quilt seemed tight enough. However, whenever I reach below to check for air pockets, the Greylock never felt snug against the bottom of the hammock. Anyone have a similar experience? The ends of th quilt were not too tight, and I feel this is more of a 'sagging' issue with the middle of the underquilt. Thanks for any help!

If it's sagging try something like Shug and others suggest keep the UQ tensioned on the suspension. I use a short length of shock cord tied to the suspension line, they can be adjusted from inside the hammock as needed.

+1 on prusik's. I have the JRB a Greylock 3 and have taken it down to about 22*, 11 with RealFeel / wind. No problems. Cozy with 20* topquilt. No problem snugging up with prusik's at each corner. Also keeps good placement between hangs.

Yeah, the prusiks fixed the problem. Very easy modification and the difference in warmth (for me) was incredible.
