    New ultralight DD setups!

I'd like to see some of these!!

They say they are the lightest hammock in the world. Soft shackles, whoopies, and huggers included.

No comments?? I know there are ultralight crew on here. I own the frontline by DD. But, a lighter one would be pretty neat!

Oh. I meant included as in it'll be ready to hang from the get go. Unlike the crappy suspension DD came with beforehand

I would definitely be interested to see some reviews on these new items from DD. Especially the hammock.

Not sure i agree on the tarp being super lightweight. 3m x 2.9m is in my opinion a fairly big tarp. They could have shaved some of that off.

Hammock - 8.8' x 4.5' @ 9.5 oz., I guess making the hammock smaller does cut weight, wonder what it does for comfort? WW is 11' and around the same weight, which is more comfortable? I'll bet I know!

Tarp - 9.8' x 9.5' 16.2 oz., nah, look at the WL tadpole and Warbonnet Edge, larger, lighter and cat cut.

Net - @6.7 oz. the bottom entry net is the best part but shipping to the US and the fact it's built to fit a sub 9' hammock make this piece and the whole kit very sub par to US offerings comfort and weight wise, but if I was in the UK and really short it would do OK if I didn't mind the weight penalty compared to the US offerings.

What is the WW?The Butt in a Sling hammock?
9.5 oz is low weight for hammock sure, but its really small, and no net.

The tarp is not special i agree. Not ultra light and the cut(square) is not best for weight/comfort ratio.

This is what my DD shelter weighs right now.

Tarp 3x3 with stakes and cordage
    2lbs 12.1 Oz.

Hammock with net, whoopies, skin, biners, and webbing
    2lbs 8.5 Oz.

I didn't realize BIAS was that cheap.. And saved that much weight.

those prices on DD website though is including shipping.
