    Post your most compact setup!

I've always been obsessed with efficient space management. One of the major draws to hammocking for me was bulk reduction. I do all of my overnighters with a 750 ci pack with a small Kifaru pod clipped onto the bottom as a shelter module:

    Here's what's in it:

Hammock: SLD Tree Runner SL, straps/whoopies
    Tarp: BCUSA 10x7
Top insulation: Kifaru woobie in compression sack
Bottom insulation: Klymit Static V inflatable pad

    Canteen for reference

Now this is a 3 season setup for me, if it drops into the 40's the 3/4 UQ fits VERY snugly in the pod as well in place of the pad.

I'd love to see some other setups and get new ideas. Please include hammock, tarp, top/bottom insulation for 3 seasons. I know this is highly climate dependent. So let's see um, I wanna save more space!

Funny you posted this, because just the other day I put together a simple hang'n'out kit to keep in my truck just in case I found a hammock spot that I just couldn't pass up.

Everything fits in this Sea to Summit SMALL compression sack.

    DIY 10'6 x 60 1.1oz hammock
DIY 2.5oz Apex & Argon TQ
HG Cuben 4 season w/all lines & hook stakes
    partial windshield reflector pad
    Total approx 35oz

Nice! I might have to look into compressing my whole setup as well.

Well I don't really compress it very tight, just used that bag because it's what I had on hand.
