Little Shop of Hammocks is now selling DIY / MYOG supplies. Mostly focusing around the quilt side of the DIY. A variety of 15D and 10D options.
    Thanks

Does anyone use W2C for shipping within Canada? I'd like some clarifications with regards to their rates and policy.

These guys are easy to deal with, and fast shipping in my experience.

They are located in Branford, Ontario, only 40 minutes from me, so a pleasant drive through the countryside and I save on shipping. They deal to the arborist industry, as well as marine; they have climbing gear, including carabiners and all sorts of hardware. Splicing tools too. Not sure how their prices compare, but they are close and therefore convenient. Hope this helps…

I found these guys about 2 years ago, and was steered clear, by a few friends, you are the first person I have heard being positive .... maybe worth trying next time I need something.

Just Curious, Brian, did you have an experience with them? I have had items shipped and also made the drive, and all three times they were extremely helpful. Again, I would stress that I don’t know how their prices compare- they are relatively local so I went with them to save on shipping, being a cheap b@stard and all. I ordered online and by phone, and also they have a small showroom if you are in the area. Besides a few carabiners, I mainly ordered the 7/64 amsteel, though I have to say I am now a fan of 1/8. Easier to splice IMO. I would hate to think I am the exception, though it would add to my ‘nice guy’ status (my duck likes me)

There was actually a thread for amsteel suppliers in Canada here https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...teel-in-Canada .... there were other choices that seemed like a better source ... some of the folks dealing with MLR weren't thrilled, other than that I have no direct experience with them.
