    sweden>somewhere>15june any suggestions?

    Finally that's it.
I sew my DIY hammock, I bought a tarp, ask for my holiday, booked my flight. I'm going to sweden end of june.

Only one question left where should I go?

Is there any native (or less native) who could recommend me a nice 1 week hike that I won't forget ?
Just looking for something wild, with trees and not too far (in bus time) from Stockholm.
I read a couple of post around, I heard about Muddus, Kunglegen, I see a lot of canoe (but I prefer my feet for now)

Thanks for the links. I already skim the web a bit.
It is hard to make a choice based only on pictures. I wanted to have some opinion of people who actually hanged there.
    I know I'm difficult.

I live in the north and that is far away from Stockholm.
I know that there are some routs close to Stockholm but I am not familiar with that area.

To bad you couldn´t come a little earlier, we are having a hang in Muddus in June 5th-8th.

Maybe this rout would be something for you:

The trail is about 1000km long but you can get to many starting points by public transport

There are extremely many trails which you can hike in Sweden. Basically you can hike from the very North of Sweden, far north of the polar circle, all the way down to Skåne in the south. Some 2000km.

If you're around Stockholm there are, as Stavos mentioned, quite a lot of options. Visitsweden.com also has some good recommendations if you visit their Lowland Trails section of their web site. http://www.visitsweden.com/sweden/Th...owland-trails/

How long are you going to be in Sweden? Strongly recommend Sörmlandsleden, it starts in Stockholm and you could spend weeks on it. Don't forget about Midsommar at the end of June, would be an excuse to come to Sweden by itself! Feel free to contact me for more details, my vacation doesn't start until the beginning of July.

I just did a few days on Bruksleden, which departs from Västerås - less than an hour by train from Sthlm. They have an excellent website too: http://www.bruksleden.se/ which albeit in Swedish should give you a lot of good info if you're a little bit intuitive (guessing you're German - and Swedish is after all a German dialect ;-)

And.. not to self-promote too much, but in my signature there's a link to my trip report where I posted some pics of the trail. It continues a good bit north from where we went (it's 250 km long...), so if you extend it to a week you won't be sorry!

In April been trekking Bohusleden for 4 days with my friends. Very nice trail and a lot of places to hang. Really do recommend it.
