I'm testing out a bunch of my new gear (cuz I'm a rookie) and getting my hiking legs under me. If anyone is interested, I'd like to get there right after work Friday afternoon to hike in. On Saturday, do a little more hiking and picture taking, then head home.

Do you have a campsite decided on? I like the site close to the only spring there. The trailhead is located at the hwy KK entrance to the park.
It is a two mile walk to the site and the spring is not very far from camp.
If I can go I will go earlier in the day.
I hadn't really decided yet. I was there last week and camped at that some spot. I didn't get a chance to take a look at the spring though. There was a large boy scout group there at the time, so I just kept hiking. Anyway, I wouldn't mind heading back to that same spot. I could probably be up there by 1 pm.
