Thanks Craige I'm glad you're liking it. It's always good to get feedback from everyone once they use their gear out in the field. Also I completely agree on the 20D vs 30D. Much softer feel and the strength is there. Not to put a weight rating on it or anything, but my brother Ryan weighs in around 285 lbs and hasn't had any problems while testing a single layer hammock using this exact material.

No worries, I have a 5 day trip coming up and that will give it a true test . That definitely puts my mind at ease.

    Kyle,

Can you please describe how the smaller ripstop pattern makes the material feel better? Does it make it feel softer? On a completely unrelated note, any chance of adding 1.6 oz ripstop nylon?

    Sincerely,
    Dave

Yes I meant that it feels softer to the touch compared to all the other 1.9 oz I've used. The "look" part of that is really just a personal opinion having seen a bunch of stuff from different manufacturers and distributors. I just like the look of a slightly smaller grid.

    Kyle,

I just noticed you have Charcoal Gray on the site. Does that also have the new smaller ripstop grid?

    Sincerely,
    Dave

Yes it does. I forgot that I had that color coming in actually, so that's why it wasn't on the site this entire time.
