I don't see how it works as a "crash pad" because a thermarest won't do anything to save your ankles.

It's a bridge hammock without poles, but requires 3-4 tree's to work. Not sure if the extra suspension is worth not having poles.

I think i'll stick with my WBBB, it just seems simpler.
