I use the stuff sack that came with my superfly, and put them in my side pocket of my pack. No problems yet

I keep them in the outside pocket of my pack.
Ditto, and I put that bag in another bag and put it in the stretch pocket on ULA Circuit with no issues.I used to carry it in a side pocket until I forgot to tie it on and lost it for 24 hours.Won't let that happen again btw.

Dont have time to post the link but you should be able to search and find a tool roll.

I put them in my bear cannister, it's a little bear vault 450, doubles as my camp stooI.

I use some an old priority mail envelope customized with some double sided tape and a rubber band.

I have stuff sacks that are a bit oversized so that my tarp flattens out in my pack, and the stakes in their little sack goes in with the tarp. Always have my stakes if I have my tarp.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

Thanks but can't take credit for the idea....I read about using the USPS tyvek envelopes on HF.
