I bought a Jam2 during the 40% blowout, and I'm afraid of the answer to that question...

I would only sell my Circuit to buy one sized a bit smaller. I have a torso-length large and could really use a medium.
you and I are abuot the same height (if I remember from Mt Rogers) how tall are you? torso length?
my torso always seems to fit right between a M and a L in every pack I buy

The Catalyst is a great pack... I too been looking hard at the Ohm. It sounds like ya'll really like it and has plenty of room too.

I sold my Jam2 in order to purchase the Conduit. Good move.
also, just a note to Brian's service: my conduit developed a small tear in the mesh where the hip-belt connects to the pack body. I contacted him thru email and he replied: "no worries dude, i'll have another one out to you today.. what size waist are you again?"

2 days later I got a new conduit, no questions asked. Rock on.

Brian's customer service is absolutely top-notch! This is just one of the reasons that I now prefer to buy cottage gear versus big-box corporately owned stuff. I'd much rather buy from ULA, Speer, JRB, Trail Designs, etc then I would their corporate competitors any day of the week.

    Golite Jam 2

I can not speak of how the golite jam2 compares to the Circuit or Ohm. Having said that, I own the Jam2 and I like it as a pack. Some people complain about its shoulder straps being not padded enough but I think if it is loaded under 25b lbs it is not bad at all. That is one problem I am noticing about the comfort of frameless backpacks. Some of them have to many available cubic inches which makes people want to fill them past their comfortable carrying weight. At one time I had close to 28 lbs in the Jam2 and while that was not bad it was starting to push it. I have a medium now that the wife uses.

I think the Jam may be lighter and bigger than the Circuit. But the Circuit is ten times more comfortable than any Golite! Does the fact that this thread is already 3 pages, but there has not been a single offer to sell say anything about the quality of these packs? Love mine, not for sale!

sure, but thankfully the big guys havent started producing hammock related gear, save for that 5 lb monstrosoty from Johnson Wax. The day Sierra Desings and the North Face start making underquilts, i dunno.. hoping that day wont have to come.
