As you can see, only the very end of the footbox has the tape exposed, the rest of it is covered by excess fabric. Hope that sorta helps.
Thanks! That is a beautiful quilt! I'm fighting a powerful urge of buying a new wider 50 degree for the ground. If I give in I will contact you. Thanks again!
Thank you too gplg for taking the time to post up that picture. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I know that a few quilt makers use it and that is the reason I did. I used an "offbrand" omni tape that is suppose to be the same suff and maybe that is what is wrong.
Just ordered one of these, about time I upgraded from the sleeping bag! Pretty sure I'll be back for a longer one for my tall son's birthday in the fall.
Them some nice looking quilts I like the shock cord up the sides seems like it would work well on ground in keeping the quilt tucked underneath ya. Do you do sewn footbox or omni tape only? Hopefully you can make it to a MAHA Where I could could check out the quilts good luck with the new business.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
Big Jim! Thanks for the order sir, it will go out before I close up shop for the week on the 12th!
Hey LRR, appreciate the feedback! They are definitely designed to be used both in a quilt or on the ground and the shock cord sides help to keep it tucked in nicely in both instances. Currently just the omni-tape footbox, though I may add sewn in the future...but not at the moment. I was at the Spring MAHHA and it was a boatload of fun! Plan to be at the one this fall as well, so I will definitely bring something you can check out!
Thanks for the well wishes!
