New guy two wheeled hanger

Hello everyone...I have been lurking all of about 24 hours at this point but figured with all the info I learned in that little amount of time I had to join. I've been camping most of my life in one form or another but I am very new to hammocks. I had decided I wanted to go this route after speaking with a gentleman (term used loosely) about his while on a motorcycle trip in south Texas. I finally took the plunge and ordered a Hennessey Expedition Zip. Can't wait for it to arrive, have a camping trip planned in one week and hope to be able to test the waters then. Hopefully it won't be too cold as I don't have anything for insulation...yet.

Buy a good alarm clock. I *always* oversleep in my hammock while on road trips (DL650)

Welcome!! I bought my hammock originally because my son is a new Boy Scout and we camp every month and I wanted to get off the ground.

I quickly realized what a perfect solution this would be for our motorcycle trips. The wife and I take one or two back road week long trips on my bike every year and if I can talk her into hanging with me I think this would be a great way to spend the week in a bike!!
