I'd definitely buy one, but it would have to be Cuben. I've been thinking for awhile of going from an 11 foot HG Winter Palace to a 12 footer. I was planning on going the custom route: mitten hooks on the underside to attach the Ridgerunner net to, some grosgrain or Cuben fiber strips on the ends of the tarp to be able to roll the doors up and secure them, side pullouts spaced for the Ridgerunner and reinforced to use tent poles as pullouts over the ridgeline, and the last thing I wanted was for it to be a bit wider so I could hang it higher. That would be my dream tarp.

    Old thread I know.
I am searching for a silnylon or silpoly 12x14. It's a rare size. CCS makes one but it's too expensive for me. And I hate their "preschool" colors.

I have a 10x13. I pitch it so.the ridge is 10'. Allows me to.stand inside. But like most of you, I have a 11' GE hammock and this configuration leaves about 12" of the hammock exposed at each end. 12' Ridgeline would work much better.

Any ideas under $200 for something lightweight? Needs to be gross grain pullouts and hopefully mid -panel.side pullouts.

blackdoghang, of course everyone can hang their own hang, but if you are anywhere close to the recommended 83% of hammock length for the distance between hammock ends, the ends on an 11 foot GE would be around 9 feet apart. So I’m not sure how that results in a 1 foot exposure at each end of a 10 ft tarp?

In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

I had a custom made 12x14 tarp built by a vendor who advertised here. He is no longer in business. 12' ridgeline with 7' walls. This allowed me at 5'9" to stand upright and not be humped over.
I would contact Dutch and see what he can do for you.
If you are on a budget maybe Dutch has some syl-nylon in seconds. Keeping the number of bells and whistles down should also save you.

Maybe check with Jared at Simply Light Designs. I haven't ordered anything from him, but I see a lot of threads talking about his work, and how fast he gets stuff done.

    I'll heartily second this suggestion.

Just guessing — based on my rudimentary understanding of fabric sizes — that something that large would end up with some seams in the panels, but Jared also seals the seams, which is a very valuable and time-saving aspect for the consumer. Seam sealing is not a fun job.

I can't believe this thread is still alive? Is the OP?
This thread was started in 2014 and I have not seen the op since his first post.
Did all of us offering suggestions and advice just waste our time on him?
