    Yeti Underquilt video

    Hey Everyone.
Last weekend I to my Hennessey and Yeto out for the night. It went down to about 46F or 8C in the morning and the only time I got cold was when my butt slipped down and off the Yeti.

But it was easy to adjust this. I just sat up and opened the start of the entry slit and reached out and pulled the Yeti down toward the foot end a bit more.

Under my legs and feet I had a piece of foam that I made up out of a floor mat. I use it in my ULA Conduit and it worked well keeping my legs warm.
Anyway here is a video I shot in the morning, I hope you enjoy.

    Cheers

    boot cleaning station????

Hey a question about the Bibbulman Track....what's up with the boot cleaning stations? Looks like a wonderful way to spend 6-8 weeks....I'd study it some more but knowing that the snakes you have there make the rattlesnakes we have here look tame makes me think hiking somewhere else

    Hi
Boot cleaning station are set up at points along the track to try and stop the spread of dieback disease. The idea is as you pass from an area that has dieback into an area that does not, you sit down and scrub your boots of dirt as the disease is transported in the dirt.

And don't let the snakes worry you, In all years along the track I have yet to see one.
I have seen plenty while geocaching just in the scrub away from trails but not on the track.
Did you listen to the mp3 here though

While I'm at it, Take a look at one of my albums on the Bib track

    Boot cleaning station.
