You only need to slide the wasp up the line if you have fat trees and the line won't reach all the way around and back to the wasp. The line would be slack at that point and you would do this before tightening.

Last night I had a dream of a tarp wasp with a built in biner. Essentially it was replacing a prusik knot on a continuous ridge-line.... I might need to make a custom order to see if my dream made any sense.

If you guys are going to get rid of your flyz for the wasp I will put my address on here so you know where to send all of your flyz. I could use these for almost anything, I mean they are outdated and useles send them to me.

Hmmmm, maybe Dutch is working on his next masterpiece as we speak; "Pre-Pepper Beatles." So light they will be virtually non-existent. Or better yet, "Post-Pepper Beatles" in a flurry of colors made of extra light Tie-dye-nium.

Me too. If anyone is tossing their flyz, I know a few young hangers that would love to get them. I'll even give them a Dutch hook of my own to set them up. Just saying.

I wonder if you could put the tie out thru the hump on the wasps back. This way when you pull the wasp to tighten its acting like the prussik.
