Handy dandy little item those camp pads

I got one of those therma rest small pads after seeing Shug talk about his and that thing is one little jewel. Used it to kneel on while cooking my soup, sat on it a while but in the hammock is where it really shines. Put it tween knees when side sleeping, under knees when back sleeping, and my feet got a little cold so I stuck it under my feeties and finally folded it around my feet, sure do feel good. Its weird because it feels warmer than everything else. That is some of the best money i have spent. Thanks Shug

Great advice! Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference.

I just scored one today at WalMart.

Rolls up the size of a soda can.
    $3.00
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.

When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

They are the best! I bought the REI one on a whim and man, it goes everywhere with me. I even use it in the house all the time. Great for the feet in the hammock, butt on a bench, log, rock, dirt, you name it.

I am making a small peak bag backpack and will also use it in the back panel.

Agree completely! I picked up a thermarest sit pad at a gear swap. I love all my gear, but the sit pad holds a special place. Frankly, I'm partial to anything that keeps the ol' keister feelin good
