Received XLC and Superfly today only 8 days after I ordered it. Set it up in the basement. Angle is not perfect but at least I can try it out. Hanging from ceiling joists.

Now that you have the hammock down there, I think you can advertise it as a finished basement I mean what else does one need?
I find hanging from trees gives you more opportunity to adjust the height and distance, whereas indoors that is usually static. Once you find the sweet spot outside, you can then carry that knowledge indoors.
I also recommend re-watching Brando's video on the XLC if you haven't since you got it. Good tips there on hanging the feet higher, and also having your head closer to the end of the hammock.
Good luck !
If you are in to basement hanging, I put up a couple of 4x4 posts bolted to the floor joists overhead and the concrete floor at the bottom. Lets me set the angle just right on my XLC and other hammocks just like outdoors. Great for testing purposes.
Mule
Man that's nice looking.
