Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
It has come to our attention that there are a few people that have signed up to bring alcohol for the potluck. Just as a reminder the Palmetto State Hangers abide by all park rules. It would be better if food items where brought.
Less than two weeks to go. Does not seem like a year has gone by since the Sesqui hang.

Made a dutch oven peach cobbler tonight for a deacons meeting, if no fatalities by tomorrow I will try the same recipe at the hang.
Does anyone have underquilt I can borrow for the fall sprawl?

I will be bringing my video camera & batteries. I've got a couple 12hr batteries and an 8hr battery, so we should be fine for battery life. The hard drive in the camera will hold 4 hours of video (recorded in 1080i AVCHD). It's a digital AVCHD video camera, so anyone with a laptop can download the videos via usb cord. I'll have my laptop along as well so I can dump video onto my laptop hard drive as needed. As for video editing, I have editing software but I am a complete amateur with very little time to play with it.
