The canoe or kayak sound much quieter and relaxing. I don't do either one of those, but I really do like watching others kayak. Where I used to white water raft in Wyoming they had some really daring awesome yakkers that would just floor me with some of their maneuvers.

Do they have enough picnic tables around for us to sit on? And how many fire rings? And will we have a firewood fund?

We use one main fire ring for the common area, and there is a fire ring in each of the 5 sites. The "MAIN" fire ring is a little larger (last I was out there) and had a nice dirt area around it, near the only water and right in the middle. Its maybe a car length from where Im thinking of you setting up.

Last time, there were several tables we "borrowed" from other sites. Gunner brought some IIRC and we def could use a few if anyone has any to spare.

I believe there WILL be a firewood fund but we are still asking anyone that can to bring pallets or otherwise. Get with JuneBug on the wood issue.

If I can, Ill go out there and get a quick video again for you guys.

I know I will be going to Santee for the event. I have a little truck and would be happy to get wood/pallets for the event. I might even be able to get a source of wood near the event. I have relatives that live in Santee. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Any firewood (from SC) that could be brought would be great! The more brought, the less, if any, that will have to be purchased.

I'll have my own for my kitchen, to do all my prep and stuff. I also have tablecloths for the older grubbier tables. I have an EZUP for over my kitchen as well. So it'll be ok if i'm not in the shade all the way. I'll have all my stuff stored there, and the cooking table will be under there too. I can cook in the rain.
