Disco, what time are we meeting Friday evening?
Thanks
Gideon
Skygzr, I'd love to try some as well. I've actually been trying to figure out some good foods for hiking.
Thanks,
Ben
- There's a very thin line between a little bit crazy and a whole lot stupid.
- If you're lost, just go faster. You'll be lost for less time.
I can't make this one but I'm hoping to hike the Berryman loop in June. The ozarktrail.com website has great info on the OT part, but next to nothing on the loop connector (blue line), so I'll be interested in the trip report from you guys, regarding water sources in particular. Have a great time!

I'm not going to be able to get there until about 9pm because of work, so everyone just get there when you can, and when I get there we can either hike a bit or just make camp there near the trailhead. Also, if you guys all get there earlier and decide to hike for a bit ahead of me, that's fine. I'll catch up.
With beauty all around you, may you walk.
Guys,
Vicky and I will be there late Friday afternoon as well. we were planning on just camping Friday at Berryman campground unless anyone else has any better idea-

I'll be getting there late in the afternoon but before the evening. I might hike in a head and camp and let the "fast guys" catch me in the morning. Traveling has put on the pounds so I expect to be slower than my usual slow on this one but I'm sure looking forward to it!!

We are meeting Friday night at the Berryman Campground / starting on the trail from the Berryman Trailhead. I think we should do the loop clockwise, like hairbear suggests.
From St. Louis, take Hwy 21 south to Potosi (60 miles); then, take Hwy 8 west 16 miles to FR 2266 following it to the Berryman Campground.
