    Mine is from Bass Pro

I bought mine from Bass Pro. I have been using it for guy lines, food bag, and whipping the ends of table cloth hammocks. When splicing it, I have been using the same needle that I use for working with the Amsteel 7/64. It is a little snug, but no real issues.

I use the copper wire from a coaxial cable doubled over. Works really well on this stuff for doing buries. I use a knitting needle for brummels.

Wellington Marine Utility Line, 1/8th inch. Diamond Braided Polypropylene (30lb working load). A small 45ft spool is 1.88 at Wal-Mart in the Boating section. I've found it in pink / green / orange (all neon).

There's no stretch, it's light, and does not tangle.

I bout some of this this summer for a canoe anchor line and liked is so much I have been thinking of using it in all of my light duty stuff i.e. guy lines tarp ridgeline bear line things of that nature
It's not the fall im scared of, it's the sudden stop at the end!!!

I like the solid braid polyester in 1/8 in as it takes knots well and has ample strength for tarps and utility lines. Dacron is a polyester. In white it is sash cord, in others utility line. With a surcharge it's yacht braid. ;-)
    YMMV
