"Best" bang for buck full length underquilt?

Is there such thing? I don't really care if it's winter or 3-season. The times I go, the lows will probably be no lower than 30.

Probably a DIY IX (insultex) UQ. But I've heard really good things about the HG Incubator.

Other DIY options: Old sleeping bags, kids sleeping bags, and women's full length down jackets (check your local thrift/second hand store for these). You can also use a CCF or regular pad if you just want to try things out.

New River may make that list.

Seems like the best price for a full length that I could find. Unless someone has a military discount that I don't know about lol I am definitely leaning towards UQ.com

You might find this list helpful...it's not exhaustive, but it helped me when I was looking into buying my UQ (which is in the mail coming to me now):

*Note: these prices include the cost of shipping to central VA, so there may be small variations in prices when considering your own shipping costs.

You may want to include if your looking for down or synthetic. Down will be more expensive than synthetic and pack down smaller and usually lighter.

Then, are you looking for complete UQ(ready out-of-box), parital made that you finish(add down and sew closed), or total DIY/MYOG (do-it-yourself/make-your-own-gear)?

You mentioned full length, but, for semi-comparison, I made my own 3/4 synthetic UQ for less than $20 and got down to 23*F(was a little cool), very comfortable at 30*F.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

You might want to adjust the Wilderness Logics info as the price includes shipping.
