    Favorite Under Quilt Hardware Setup

This coming weekend I'm planning on stuffing my new Foyle with downy goodness, but once it's ready, what is the best hardware setup to use?

I have a spool of 1/8" shock cord, but I'm not sure what else I need to order.

What is your favorite way of rigging an UQ?

I have a length of shock cord on each end of the quilt that is tied to one of the end corners (actually in this photo it is clipped on using small carabiner) and then runs through the other side corner loop and uses a toggle to adjust the length of each shock cord for that end. I just run the end of the loop over my hammock end gather...that's it. Cinch it snug to the hammock and I'm done. On my JRB 3/4 UQ it is just the shockcord permanently attached, if I need to shorten the shock cord I tie a slipknot

There are lots of great ways and doo-dads to attach them, I just like to keep it simple....for now anyways but I do foresee an order from Dutch in the future.

I recently stuffed two Barnaby TQ shells and made them convertible to FL UQs as well, here's a photo of them on a Hennessy Expedition.

Have fun stuffing You'll like the quilt
