    Lightest 0F Bottom Insulation Setup?

I'm considering buying a Incubator 0 from Hammock Gear but was wondering if there is a lighter setup? I'll use any combination of things: pad, UQ, UnderCover, hammock sock, etc.

Edit: Sgt. Rock said that "Canoe Blue's Down UQ" was the lightest UQ he ever stumbled upon, but I can't seem to find any specs related to it. Does anyone have any info at all about this mythical beast? What it was made of, dimensions, anything???

It's a 10 year old design, listed under PROJECTS http://thru-hiker.com/projects/down_underquilt.php

Definitely not 0*. I think it only had 1.5" of loft.

With only 1 and 1.5" of down it would only be a summer rated UQ. Most 3 season 20F quilts have about 2.5" of down and 0F quilts have about 3.5 or 4" of down.

5'2 to 5'3, and I think I'll end up using a sweater-pillow, so head insulation will probably be unnecessary.

I would get a HG phoenix. at 52" long and 20.2oz you will be very comfy. It should cover you from feet to just under the top of your shoulders.

Would that require a foot pad? When sizing for sleeping quilts Joe (Zpacks) told me I should take into account pointing my feet when I sleep, which adds length.

Some people were also saying that you end up sleeping more on a diagonal on a UQ. Is this true? Does it affect how what size you should buy?

    Thanks!
