Someone gave me two whoopies and a couple loops worth of 7/64.
I had to have 600' right away.

walmart sells a needle used to fix pulls in weave. about 12 inchs long and has a toggle loop at the end. il try to get a pic tomorrow. i did buy some galvinized wire in 24a at home depot for snare wire. cut a 3' length and doubled it over and used duct tape. I also twisted it to get it more rigidity.

Lol, there right get away from the am steel. I made 4 (2 from 7/64 and two from 1/8) whoopie slings last night and presently only have one hammock at the moment which already has Whoopie slings . next you'll find yourself making soft shackles for fun and hanging out at the marine store discussing techniques for splicing

This is what you're looking for
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

That's a good rule. I wish someone would have warned me before I made my first order. I only needed about 12' so I ordered 50'. That lasted about 2 days. A few ridgelines, whoopie slings, and soft shackles later and I'm out.

Yes, I just tried it to refresh my memory but I prefer a slightly thinner folded wire. Taper and technique are important.
