    it has a strap that goes down the middle to separate the 2 sleepers as well as the strap at the knees to give support.

    Hate to criticize some new idea, but what problem is this attempting to solve? Looks really complicated and heavy, plus you are limited in your site selection. Obviously not for backpacking, but I'm not sure this is good for car camping unless you know of a good place to set up. Staying warm would be a problem.

    Trent Johnson has a new Kickstarter project called the Tree-O hammock frame: a set of straps that will support up to three hammockers, even if the trees are as much as 30 feet apart!
