    Best Tarp skins?

In the market for some after camping with my buddy. That had them and it was pretty sweet.

What brands are the best? The ones I can find seem to be the same price ...

    Hennessy hammocks
    Wilderness logics
    Mountain goat

    Thoughts?

WildernessLogics makes excellent skins, as does Mountain Goat.
All 3 of mine are wildernesslogics because they rock!

Do you use snakeskins for your OMW? I use them for my Big Daddy, but curious to know if the OMW is unwieldy in them...

They're also wicked easy to make, and are a good starting project for DIY practice!

Oh yeah, OMW, Bullfrog and TadPole. I had a set for my Superfly too but when I sold it I let the skins go with it.
Skins add a little bulk to the packed tarp but it is more than worth it to have the manageability. You can hang and center your tarp before unfurling the tarp, I even roughly place my corner stakes before I slide back the skins.

IMHO well worth the minor bulk/weight gain.
Skins allow external carry on ones pack.
I have 2 foot long pieces of 1/8 shock cord that I use to bind the loaded, folded skins to the ext. loops on my pack or to compress the skins to stuff into the mesh ext. pocket.
They have cord pouches on the ends to keep my CRL (tarp over CRL) w/Dutch Flyz. This allows for rapid deployment.
