I prefer the solid background. Works better on embroidered stuff like hats and shirts also.

Here's another set. I didn't like the "ground" I inserted on the last one, so I moved the hammock down, and cleaned the tress up a bit. Background is solid orange.

I really like it, good work!

It kind of looks like a happy face, the hammock is the mouth, the top of the trees the eyes, it is kind of creeping me out a little now.

    Still good though.

That's very similar to Paul's mouse pad.

    Very nice. I like it.

Overall I like the version with the Orange Background. Simple and clean.

As far as the misspelling issue, you could always capitalize the second "M" (HamMeck) for effect.

Thanks for the feedback. I toyed around with the orange, but we were just too partial to the gradient. My favorite color is orange, and my wife's is purple, thus the gradient. The new logo is now live on our new webpage > hammeck.com

We had started out spelling it "HammEck", and also considered "HamMeck", but either option makes it sound too broken-up. In reality, our company name does not have a correct pronunciation, so we just stuck with the simple "Hammeck".

Yeah kinda like HamMike! I dig the orange and black with no ground in between the trees. I disagree with the sentiment of not patronizing companies that purposely mispell words to grab attention or fit them personally. It's a bit pompous IMO. The product is what ultimately matters. I think folks that are looking for hammocks will know what the business is all about and even the ones that aren't really looking for that.

Speaking of which, the Mecks do make a quality product.
