    Need some hammock fabric

I'm working on getting our Scout troop prices on making their own hammock. I can't believe the prices on Magnafabrics.com. They seem too good to be true. They have horrible reviews when Googled but I have found a couple of posts on HF that mention having ordered from them successfully. I am new to hanging. Any suggestions or experiences with Magna Fabrics?

Take a look at table cloth factory. Look in the fabrics section, there is an article on the right link that was commented on just today.

I have ordered a couple of times from them, the thing with them is they leave the fabric on the cardboard tube and ship by wieght, and sometimes they are alittle slow with shipping, That being said, you are not gonna find a better deal anywhere, atleast i cant find one!
The more you buy,the more you save, what i did was after 3-4 days from placing my order i called Larry the owner and asked him my shipping status and that helped because he shipped it later that day. He just needed alittle gentle reminder,, all of the fabric that i recieved was very nice stuff and i have been happy with it.
I hope this helps,,...... i am referrring to magnafabris.com

And check out Dejohoa's youtube videos (DerekHansen) on 3 minute hammocks. No sewing involved.

Many of us have had good luck with Magna Fabrics (there has been at least one unhappy customer here). I have ordered from them 3 times and would not hesitate to buy from them again. I assume they are buying roll ends and surplus from large contract manufacturers, thus the low pricing.

While shipping seems high the first time you see it, divide it by the yards you are buying, add that to the cost per yard and you will find you still have the lowest price around.

I ordered two rolls from them. They packaged the rolls together to ship. I still ended up paying double shipping. However, even with shipping, it came out to $1.95/yard. You can't beat that with a stick.
