Toxaway w/2QZQ doors & pole mod

Had doors and pole mod done on my Toxaway. As always great work, customer service and prices and Tim & Donna are just great folks. Just had time to make my pole (from Quest Outfitters, also great to deal with) and set up before dark. First time to set up a tarp w/doors so still got some learning to do. Looking forward to sleeping under this thing in some wind/rain/cold.

I'll post again when I've used it some. I've really liked the Toxaway and even with the mods I think its going to be lighter than the HH Hex that came w/my Safari. I believe I can turn my attention to fine tuning other elements of my setup now. For what I want to do this seems to be the perfect tarp.

Are those Hennessey snakeskins on that tarp? How does it fit in the skins with the doors added? Does it require extra fiddling?

Also, how long did you make the pole?

I discovered the Toxaway after picking up an OES 4 season. The 4 season has been great and a less expensive route but had I done it again, your set up is exactly what I'd run.

    Enjoy.

Yes they are Hennessey snakeskins. I just took it down in the dark and they are a little more snug but no real problems. I think I won't even notice it after a few times.

To make the pole I just followed the instructions from 2QZQ and Quest Outfitters. I haven't actually measured the pole after I finished it but they advised to cut it to fit the tarp while pitched since even the same model tarp could vary slightly from one tarp to another. Quest sent me exactly what I needed, which was a little over the 112 inches of the tarp width. I think the scrap piece was about 6 inches.

It is a painless process when dealing w/the folks from 2QZQ & Quest.
