Low is 60: Do I need insulation?

I just bought the Hennessy Expedition Asym Hammock and it will be arriving soon. I'll be hanging in it next Thursday/Friday. Currently, the forecast has us at 60-61 Degrees as the low and high 80's during the day. If I take my GI poncho liner and lay on that while in my sleeping back will I be well enough insulated?

You need to bring some 'just in case' stuff. Low 60s is pretty cool when in a hammock. I like the cold, but even I would have something under me below 65. Take a cheap Walmart pad or something just in case.

I've found that at temperatures in the 60's I've been become chilly fast when I moved off of the insulation. You might almost compare it to laying in water of that temperature... not quite that bad, but you get the idea.

if your buddy still has the poncho to go with the liner you could put them together and hang it under your hammock as a cheap UQ. Then just use a sleeping bag as top quilt. I use this one my hammock and slept in a couple of weeks ago in the backyard at 60degrees and all I had on top of me was a thin fleece cover.
