    I think I've got a way to make then sectional to. I have a wooden rod the exact right thickness

    That's how I did mine, except I used 1/4 diameter black delrin and 1/8 diameter stainless dowel pins. Not the lightest thing out there, but either is this hammock.

    What are you using to tie out the bug net? I'm using the stock shock cord that came with the hammock going to some niteize reflective cord and figure 9's?

    Also made a small "ridge line" out of zing-it inside the netting for hanging a small flashlight.

    Inside the netting? Never thought about that. I like that. My local marine shop had no zing-it the last time I was in but when the get some I plan on picking up a roll.

    It works nicely but unless you change out the shock cord, which I haven't, it really is only good for a small light and a small knife maybe. At least it's something
