Topquilt to pair with 20* Incubator

For those who have them, do a 20* incubator and a 40* burrow provide comfort below 40*?

More than likely I'll eventually get both a winter and summer top quilt. I just can't decide which one I should get first. Temperatures can drop below freezing during the shoulder seasons (here in KY), but it gets really humid and sticky in the summer.

I'm wondering which topquilt would be comfortable for the largest part of the year.

I've also considered the Hudson River or a custom 30* burrow.

Hmmm...I'd get a 30 degree Burrow. I have a 20, 30 and 40 degree Burrow. Never use the 40 anymore. 30 gets the most use where I hang.

Generally as I understand it, you want to stay the same rating for both but if you go under rated with one it should be the top. You could always supplement the 40 with a fleece liner to boost the rating for those times when you are in lower temps. I know Hamockgear goes 0 20 40 50. You could go with a 40 with overfill.
