    Mike,
What kind of stakes do you find work the best for that kind of ground you have to deal with out there? Must be tough staking sometimes!
I sure hope you don't have to carry big boulders in your pack to put on top of your stakes!

no one stake is going to work just as there is no one type of soil. ti skewers is what i use b/c of their lite weight/strength ratio

    Hey Mike,
The question asking if the hammock was a bb 1.1 lefty - was really my between the lines hint that I had discovered that you are also Pearana because you mention that in the video and it also appears under your avatar.

Until now the only te-wa I was aware of is this one , from one of my other interest.

te-wa means a lot of things in different languages, and its also a native language for some tribes in Arizona. My version of te-wa is a Cherrokee word meaning "flying squirrel"

Is the underquilt in the video one of your creations? If so, I'd like some more info!

Yes, that looks like a nice UQ. Also, what do you weigh? I'm also considering a 1.1oz Blackbird, I weigh 160#.

160# should do fine. it is pro'lly the upper limit, you'd have to ask brandon to be sure, but the guy i got it from is about 185 and was too heavy (read: strettcchchhh)

the price is $180 shipped to conUS
its very well made, if I do say so.
    mike

sorry, missed the size specs: it is 40x52 finished. that covers most, if not all end gathered users. It will fit bridge hammocks w/ a simple change of suspension system, that i will supply. mike

Great video Mike. I wish I was in the single layer 1.1 category but I will have to go with two layers at my weight (185). Its all good though.

    Great looking setup as always!
